I’m pretty picky about my mixes, usually favoring to post individual tracks rather then an hour and a half of bangers. With laptop producing and the insane amount of mixing ability available to everyone, a mix really has to stand out and have some character.
This one does, sent to me a few days ago by CLAKSAARB from the bay area.

Just thought I’d drop in to share this mixtape with you guys. It’s been a while since I posted about things that make my ass shake in a non-aggro way. Anyways, check out your girl Rye Rye with my personal favorite DJ in all of Hampsterdam Blaqstarr. Everytime this mixtape turns a corner I’m reminded why I’m so excited about both of these artists. Definitely check this one out.
ALSO: Don’t miss Rye Rye when she plays Rotture June 3rd w/ Fleshtone.

I just found these four mp3’s in my mailbox. They are all steaming fresh and rather epic, electro seems to be getting even more spastic and polished as genres meld. I am a huge fan of Lazertag but find that not even they can save The Faint’s new album, though this is the most valiant attempt yet.

Listen for yourself.
Trash Yourself- Forget It
John Bourke – Hoes Get Down and Shake It (Rye Rye vs Surkin) this track is bananas!
Crystal Method – Double Down Under (LAZRtag Remix)
The Faint- Get Seduced (Lazertag Remix)

I heard Boody B from Palms out Sound drop this a few months ago at a tiny but banging bar night. I was blown away at the time, one of the best epic, hard anthems. The AC Slater original gets the appropriate treatment by Jack Beats.
Jack Got Jacked- AC Slater (Jack Beats Remix)

Surkin has a tendency to spastically fly off into high notes, crazy synth like a Kissy Sell Out keyboard solo. I love it! Fortunately for those unconvinced, Bobmo adds some needed dance floor stability.
Kid Gloves- Surkin (Bobmo Remix)

Not a new song by any stretch but one more amazing remix to keep this a classic. “Of course I love music. This is sick.”
This is Sick- Solid Groove (Yeah Woho! Remix)
