Super hyped Danish Brooklynite Oh Land just got remix treatment by two of the best in the electro field. In the same vein of Annie, Robyn and Fever Ray this should see heavy rotation on late summer mixtapes.

This shit is not going be approved by serious DJ’s who frown upon mashups and vocal party blends. Everyone else will find the sonic minutes just great for a random sunny day, a nice mix running between classics and genres from NYC’s DJ duoOverture. Put this on loud and go water your lawn. Why Can’t We Be Blends (Part 1) by Its Overture
I’m not a huge disco fan in any way shape or form whether it is the drugged out rollerskating rich kids of the seventies or the well..no longer rollerskating hipsters of now. But somehow that glittering ball keeps spinning and occasionally a classic escapes the mundane whether it is PNAU, Classixx or my most recent discovery Robbie Loggia.

My good friend and roomate has been working on this movie for quite some time. I wanted to supply a soundtrack but copyright issues stand in the way of DJ sets popping up in films any time soon. So not very musically related but quite creative in it’s own, peep this now and wait for the real deal to drop in the near future.
Larry Tee is feeling the love. According to an email by the electro/hipster magnate and master of all dirty lyrics he has had some “lucky breaks” lately and wishes to share his “tested sure-fire crowd pleasers”. I can’t help but agree about the dance floor draw of these little numbers:

FBM is a blog written about all kinds of music. We often focus on small acts and DJs, promoting and loving what we consider to be the very best in Indy, Dubstep, House and far beyond. We are a collective of (currently) unpaid kids based out of Portland Oregon. We urge you to support this music and hence we will provide the the most accurate show listings and heads up on things to do in Portland.
This is all those things but more then anything else this is about community, about having as many authors contributing as much as possible and promoting all of our friends. I believe in politics as still being important and I believe in this generation still being relevant. Our culture is all we have.
Almost all of this music is sent to us by the creator and is entirely legal to download, if something slips through the cracks and you are the owner of a soundfile you wish removed, simply email us. Thank you.
