One year ago I launched this website to write about the music I love. I quickly added on friends to help me with web design, as dj’s and most of all as writers to collectively post new material every day. What started out as a joke and a funny idea is now a fully formed group of people and a little electronic music community here in Portland, Oregon.
To celebrate our one year anniversary we are throwing our last monthly party at our favorite little night club. This time with VS sets by all the DJ’s from the blog and this time around for free. (Benhibubu is filling in for Dr. Adam due to previous engagement.)

Individual bio’s after the jump:
Tyler Tastemaker is one of the hardest working DJ’s in downtown Portland, constantly playing out and opening shows as well as holding down several residencies. If you are unfamiliar with Tylers smooth dub and heavy blap this is a great introduction as he battles Benhibubu, Tyler’s friend and frequent culprit in the quickly spreading and massively popular dub step scene.
Lady Adie is quickly becoming a popular draw in the downtown club scene, gaining several current residencies- at Dante’s, Pala, Hecklewood and Crown Room among others. Her sound is similar to blog house, nu rave/nu disco or indie dance though she is known to vary it up with everything from hip-hop to drum and bass. Outside of DJing this 27 year old is pursing a Ph.D. in neuroscience but is quickly becoming a full time and very popular DJ. She will be battling Lions Den, a fast rising name in the downtown club scene, holding down a residency at Vault and opening for Futurecop! on Wednesday.
For 6 years now, DJ Gray has been playing everything from burning man parties to the naked bike ride with his recent accomplishments being topped by him opening for Ladytron over the midnight hour at 2410 on New Years Eve. His style ranges from dirty hip hop to electrohouse with the occasional taste of booty and ghettotech. He has a residency at the Red Cap Garage. Along with Gray, DJ Countzero runs the website fuckbadmusic.com, a successful music blog based here in Portland Oregon. Musically Countzero plays hard electro and fidget house, often playing the newest tracks released on the blog.
Creating and playing the popular weekly night CHEDDA, Matt and Kellan are residents of fuckbadmusic. com and constantly bring the hardest and nastiest electro and fidget around. Whether opening for bigger names at Branx and Rotture or being spotted at nights like Bang-A-Rang, Superkidz and Chedda, Matt and Kellan are bringing more and more genres to the floor.
