This new heater by Lazer Sword member and former Portlander Low Limit (aka Bryant Rutlidge) has turned around my favorite Crystal Castles song, “Courtship Date,” into something completely unruly, unholy, low tempo, and banging.

On the news front: Portland’s DJ Monkeytek (Various - dubstep, jungle, dnb monthly @ Rotture/ lo dubs records) is headed down to SF tomorrow to play a night with Lazer Sword.  I don’t know how these guys linked up but if my dreams come true, we will all be dancing to Lazer Sword, live at Various very soon. (HINT HINT Craig and Ryan…)
