The site asks for a reason why you wouldn't pay. "I don't believe in paying for music/ I don't like Girl Talk" etc.. Since it didn't have an option for "I'd rather pay in cash fuck a credit card/paypal" or "I don't even know if I'm going to listen to it more than once." I felt that I couldn't really explain myself properly and therefore made me feel a little guilty for not paying at least a dollar. Well, it gives you the download links before any payment is required. I fooled the internet! Really though, this whole pay-what-you-want thing is interesting. It especially makes me wonder about what effect doing a self-release had on Girl Talk's need to clear samples. (Sasha.. possible interview question??)
